Don't you just love Christmas cards. Until I started blogging, I didn't know anyone (besides my sister) who felt the same. Sometimes it is nice to know you aren't the only one with crazy quirks :)
I have every-thing down, but my Christmas cards. I hate to take them down.
So sad!!!!!!
Kacey (Kim Sue's sister) had a great idea for Christmas cards that I copied this year - I punched a hole in the corner of them and clipped them together with a large metal binder ring clip. The kids flip through them and look at far away friends and now I have all of my cards in one place.
I hate to take mine down too. Funny it seems my kitchen seems bigger with them down. I guess less clutter looking..
Happy New Year!!!
What a festive display. NO wonder you hate taking them down.
Cheer up. Christmas is a mere eleven months away:)
a mere 11 months! That's funny...
It's nice to pack all the decor up and take the tree down, but it's a bummer to take those cards down! I love that you save them in an albumn! That's genius!
Does this mean you figured out the picture thing on your new Mac? Yay!!
Oh, I know it is a bit sad to take all the cards down!
Mine our in several boxes. It is fun to look back over the years at them.
I will have to go take mine down soon. I have a pile waiting for me to still open. Your display looks great. What a fun New Years you had!
I'm with you. I keep mine too. It's so fun to pull them out and look at them.
Wow, looking at the before and after really shows the difference! I always hate taking down all the Christmas stuff b/c the house looks so bare. But then I get used to it again until the next year! That is great that you save the cards so you can look at them. My mom has an album with cards from her friends like 20 years ago and I love looking at them now b/c the kids are all grown and having their own kids. It's so fun to see the old photos.
actually i am quite sad to take down everything.
i love our home so much during the holidays...cozy, warm, inviting. magical.
smiffle, sniffle.
i love your cabinets by the way!
